East Orange, N.J. – A cosmetic surgeon in New Jersey, who was out on bail, is facing new charges for performing illegal silicone injections, according to a report from WGHP via NJ.com.
Kasia Rivera, 37, was first charged in connection to the death of 22-year-old Justin Street in 2011 when she allegedly injected a him with silicone during a penis enlargement procedure, the report says.
Street died after suffering a clot in his lungs that led to a silicone embolism.
Rivera was scheduled to stand trial on February 24, but now she’s facing new charges for allegedly injecting a woman’s breasts and buttocks with silicone, WGHP reports.
Rivera is reportedly back in jail under a $200,000 bail for performing illegal medical procedures.
