Hampton Roads, Va. - Snow, icy roads, high winds and very cold temperatures are the conditions expected in Hampton Roads Monday and Tuesday and they could make for some very messy roads.
Right now, the message to drivers who have to drive in these wintry conditions are ‘slow down’ and ‘take your time.’ Meanwhile, the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) is preparing a brine solution to lay down on major interstates. Several crews are out tonight focusing on bridges and overpasses since they are usually the first to freeze.
