Chesapeake, Virginia – Police are investigating an industrial accident where a man was hit by a train in the 400 block of Freeman Avenue.
Police say the man was an employee of Norfolk & Portsmouth Belt Line and was working on the track when he was hit in the leg by an oncoming train.
He was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
