UPDATE: According to Kenyon, roughly 200 residents have been potentially affected by this water main break. It has been estimated that the repairs will be done around 6 p.m. tonight.
Norfolk, Va. – Crews are currently repairing a water main break in Norfolk early Sunday afternoon.
According to Harry Kenyon with Norfolk Public Utilities, an eight-inch water main ruptured around noon, and has left a portion of W. Little Creek Road near Newport Avenue closed till further notice.
Until the water main is secure, Kenyon says they won’t know how many customers have been affected.
