Two men injured in Norfolk shooting

Norfolk, Va. – Two men were injured over the weekend in a Norfolk shooting, police tell NewsChannel 3.

On March 15, 2015 shortly after 3:00 a.m., 911 dispatchers received a call of gunshots heard in the area of 41st Street and Bowdens Ferry Road.

Police arrived on scene and found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. The man was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Shortly after, another man walked into Sentara Norfolk General Hospital suffering from an apparent non-life threatening gunshot wound, police say.

The preliminary investigation revealed that both men were in the area of 41st Street and Bowdens Ferry Road when they were shot.

Neither of the men are Old Dominion University Students.
