Man accused of flying drone into White House will not face charges

Washington D.C. – The man who says he mistakenly flew a drone onto the grounds of the white house back in January will not face federal charges.

The FAAA reportedly determined the borrowed Quadcopter was not under the man’s control when it crashed on January 26th.

According to a secret service investigation, the man was flying the drone outside his apartment window in Washington, DC when he lost control.

He went to sleep that night not knowing where the drone was, but contacted the secret service after watching news reports.

The FAA is still reviewing the incident.

The New York Times reported that he had been drinking before flying the drone.
