Norfolk, Va. – Police are investigating after they say a man was found shot Wednesday night in Norfolk.
Shortly after 11:00 p.m., police found a 38-year-old man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound at 18th Street and Church Street. The man was in a vehicle that was being driven by a third party to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, police say. Paramedics responded to the location and transported the man to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital where he remains with non-life threatening injuries.
The preliminary investigation has revealed that the man was shot in the 800 block of Pollard Street, according to police. Norfolk detectives are actively investigating this incident and are asking anyone with any information to contact the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
