Hampton, Va. - The odds may not have been in the Pirates’ favor, but many Hampton fans were full of faith and pride.
Whether they thought they were going to pull off the biggest upset in sports history or not, all the students on campus knew how important the game was not only for the basketball program, but for the entire school.
Although the outcome may not have been what they were hoping for, the Pirate pride never dies.
