Virginia Beach, Va. (WTKR) – The Virginia Aquarium and Marine Science Center Stranding Response Team is caring for a gray seal.
According to a post on their Facebook page, the seal, which has been named Bronco, was first spotted on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at False Cape State Park.
Bronco was admitted to rehab several days later after he was observed hauled out and gradually began showing behaviors of an unhealthy seal.
The gray seal is being treated for mild pneumonia and several lesions across his body.
