Buffalo Wild Wings manager accused of stealing $1,000 from patron’s purse

James City County, Va. – A manager at the Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant in Williamsburg has been charged with grand larceny after reporting taking $1,000 from a woman’s purse at the restaurant.

The victim reported to James City County Police that she had left her purse in the bar area on March 14th. When she realized she left it, she returned the following day to retrieve it.

The purse was returned, but an envelope containing approximately $1,000 in cash was missing.

Video surveillance revealed that the restaurant manager, 37-year-old Belinda Stuart of Newport News, removed the envelope from the purse before returning it to the owner.

She has been charged with Grand Larceny.
