Firefighters put out fire at Baker’s Crust restaurant in Norfolk

Norfolk, Va. – Norfolk firefighters put out a roof fire at the Baker’s Crust Restaurant on 21st street Sunday afternoon.

Around 2 p.m., fire crews responded to a small chimney fire on the roof of the Ghent restaurant.

According to Battalion Chief Julian Willamson with the Norfolk Fire Department, the fire was contained to the chimney area and no smoke entered the restaurant. No injuries were reported.

Crews are currently investigating hot spots to determine the cause of the fire.
