Suffolk, Va. – A young man was shot in the leg at a party in Suffolk early Sunday morning.
The shooting happened at the intersection of Wilson Street and Wellons Street in downtown Suffolk.
Around 1:40 a.m. the victim, 23-year-old Ernest Brown, walked into the Emergency Room with a non-life threatening gun shot wound on his leg. Brown was at a house party when gunshots were allegedly fired as partygoers were leaving.
The investigation is on-going.
