Portsmouth, Virginia – Police say the Rodeway Inn located in the 1000 block of London Boulevard was robbed shortly before 1:00am Friday.
According to police, a man entered the hotel lobby, displayed a handgun and demanded money from the clerk.
The clerk gave the suspect money and the suspect fled on foot, police say.
The suspect is described as a black male wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt and carrying a silver handgun.
No one was injured.
