Brenham, Texas – Blue Bell Ice Cream has now recalled all of its products currently on store shelves because of a serious health risk.
According to dallasnews.com, Blue Bell Creameries voluntarily expanded their recall to include all of their products including ice cream, frozen yogurt, sherbet and frozen snacks due to the risk of Listeria.
This can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in small children, frail or elderly people and other people who have weak immune systems.
Those who are healthier may only suffer short-term symptoms including high fever, severe headaches, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea.
This can also cause miscarriages and stillbirths if pregnant women become ill.
