Brooklyn, New York – Alice Barker is a 102-year-old former chorus line dancer during the Harlem Renaissance in the 1930s and 1940s.
She now resides in the Bishop Henry B. Hucles Episcopal Nursing Home in Brooklyn.
Recently, she was shown three “Soundies” that she had appeared in. Her reaction was posted to YouTube.
According to the YouTube video’s description, although she danced in numerous movies, commercials and TV shows, she had never seen any of them, and all of her photographs and memorabilia have been lost over the years.
