Williamsburg, Va. – Students at William and Mary held a Black Lives Matter rally on the campus on Monday afternoon.

Students say they are not focusing on one issue, they are responding to national events including the shooting of Mike Brown in Ferguson and the recent Freddie Gray case in Baltimore.

A woman tried to disrupt their march but she was quickly escorted away.

The crowd was a diverse one and they say their goal was awareness.
