Chesapeake, Va. – The Chesapeake Fire Department responded to a house fire Thursday evening in the 2100 block of Kingsley Lane, in the Deep Creek community of Chesapeake, officials tell NewsChannel 3.
When crews arrived, they found a two-story house with heavy fire on the second floor.
The homeowner told fire officials that everyone was accounted for, and the firefighters were able to conduct a primary rescue search of the structure, finding that the building was all clear.
Firefighters were able to bring the fire under control.
