Newport News, Virginia – A woman was robbed and shot at the Fort Eustis Inn at 16924 Warwick Boulevard Thursday night.
The incident happened around 11:00pm.
Police say two men stole a Playstation and some games, and tried to take the woman’s purse.
When the men couldn’t get the woman’s purse, one of them shot her in the shoulder.
The woman was taken to the hospital and is expected to recover.
The men are described as black males wearing dark clothing and hoodies. They left in a dark colored vehicle.
