Newport News, Va. - A Newport News man has been charged with indecent exposure after he exposed himself near a school bus stop with children present, according to police.

Police were dispatched to the area of 36th Street and Marshall Avenue around 11:40 A.M.  on Tuesday for a report of a man exposing himself in the area.

The victim, a 61-year-old Newport News woman, told officers that she had seen 31-year-old Justin Deandre Lacott exposing himself.

Lacott was charged with indecent exposure, a misdemeanor, and was placed in the custody of the Newport News City Jail.

NewsChannel 3 spoke with a neighbor, Monique Baker who lives in the area. She has a child who gets off the bus around the time the incident happened. She says her son did not see anything.

"Yes that's disgusting. That's the worst. That's just nasty," says Baker. "It scares me because I have grandkids that are out, and if they was to be out here playing our something, it would really hurt me."
