Hampton, Va. – A VDOT contractor has been taken to the hospital after he was shocked while working on the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel on Thursday.
The victim was a worker for EG Middleton. The company is doing work at the HRBT for VDOT.
While in a ventilation building, the worker was replacing electrical distribution equipment and was hurt.
There’s no information yet about the extent of his injuries.
He has been taken to Sentara Norfolk General.
