Chesapeake, Va. – Diesha Williams, 38,  and her unborn child were killed in a three vehicle crash in Chesapeake on Friday morning.

Crews went out to the scene at the intersection of Cornland Road and Rt. 17 at 1:55 a.m.

They say a woman was driving an SUV going west on Cornland Road and failed to yield the right of way to traffic that was going north on Route 17.

The SUV hit a sedan with three people inside and a pick-up truck.

Everyone involved in the accident was injured and taken to the hospital.

Williams was inside of the sedan in the back seat behind the driver. She was nine months pregnant. Both died in the hospital.

The woman who was driving the SUV has been given a summons for failing to yield the right of way.

This accident is still under investigation.
