La Plata, Maryland – A 24-year-old woman has been taken to the hospital for a mental evaluation after she was seen pushing a dead child in a swing at a park on Friday.
According to WUSA9, the woman was the mother of the 3-year-old child and they believe she may have been pushing the child all night.
Police were on the scene a little before 7 a.m. and found the child was dead.
They say the toddler showed no signs of trauma and the child has been taken in for an autopsy.
