Virginia Beach, Va. --- Police officers found more than 75 items in the search of a car following a traffic stop, according to a search warrant. The items found include a police officer's badge, as well as electronics.

Police arrested Clifford McDole, Jr. and charged with two counts of Grand Larceny and two counts of Larceny with Intent to sell or distribute.

NewsChannel 3 spoke with McDole on the phone, who says he didn't know anything about what was in the car and says he was borrowing it from a friend. "I have no idea what items they had, what they found," said McDole, who's out of jail on bond.

Police haven't said why they pulled him over initially. The car was a rental, belonging to Avis Budget Car Rental, according to the search warrant. The stop happened near the intersection of Bonney Road and Constitution Drive.

Officers also found a police officer's badge, belonging to an officer from Duck, N.C., according to the warrant. Police say the officer's car was broken into in Currituck County, and say the officer's personal handgun and holster were taken.

McDole says he had nothing to do with anything in the car. He's due back in court in June.
