The excitement is spreading all over Hampton Roads with crazed fans of the carb and sugar ridden delight.
This glorious day for donut lovers was created by the Salvation Army in 1938 to honor the volunteers who served donuts for the soldiers during World War I.
Krispy Kreme and Dunkin Donuts will be giving out one free donut to each of its customers.
