Hampton, Va. – Hundreds of customers were without power in Hampton on Monday night.
According to Dominion Power’s website, a little over 700 people have been affected at one time.
They say a bird entered their equipment and caused a pool fire.
This happened at around 5 p.m.
They had to drop power to make repairs.
Power was restored at 8:38 p.m. There are several customers still waiting for their services to be restored. They are expected to have power by midnight.
