Virginia Beach, Va. - The Maury Commodores took on the Godwin Eagles out of Richmond for the 5A south region championship.
Not teams will be heading to the state tournament, this match up was just to determine the seeding for the 4-team play-off.
The game was scoreless going into the half. The Eagles snuck one in at the beginning of the second half and the Commodores were unable to answer.
Eagles win 1-0. The Maury girls head to the state tournament.
