Newport News, Va. – A 30-year-old woman was arrested Thursday after an investigation into an incident that took place Tuesday in the 400 block of Wrenn Circle.
Police say Miriam Lucia Robinson allegedly attempted to set her ex-boyfriend’s vehicle on fire by pouring a flammable liquid on it.
Robinson then yelled at the victim, threatening to burn the vehicle. She ran from the scene when the victim ran towards her.
Robinson was charged with attempted arson of a vehicle, threats to burn, tampering with a vehicle, and petit larceny.
She is being held in the Newport News City Jail.
