Sweet Briar, Va. – Sweet Briar College, located in central Virginia, will remain open, according to a report from CBS affiliate WDBJ.
In March, officials at the school announced they would be permanently shutting down in August due to “insurmountable financial challenges.”
According to WDBJ, The Board of Directors now says the college’s financial situation has dramatically changed, allowing them to remain open.
