Newport News, Va. - All lanes are now open on I-64 westbound at Fort Eustis Boulevard.
A tractor-trailer crash was blocking both lanes for several hours and a detour had been put in place.
The detour has been removed but traffic is currently backed up approximately five miles to Jefferson Avenue.
I-64 East near the crash scene is experiencing delays as well, but all lanes in that direction are open to drivers, VDOT says.
Virginia State Police are still investigating the crash. More details on that will be posted as they become available.
