Vigil to be held in Mathews to honor victims of Charleston church shootings

Mathews, Va. – A prayer vigil will be held Monday, June 22, 2015 to honor the victims of the South Carolina church shootings, NewsChannel 3 has learned.

The vigil will be held at 7:00 p.m. at Mathews High School, 9889 Buckley Hall Road, Mathews, Virginia, 23109. It is open to the public.

Nine people were killed in the shooting rampage Wednesday at a historic black church in Charleston, South Carolina.
