Tracking showers, storms and the heat….After a brief break from the extreme heat, get ready for more hot, humid weather in today’s forecast. In fact, highs will climb into the upper 80s and lower 90s for a lot of us under a mix of sun and clouds. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible by afternoon and evening. Some of the storms could be strong to severe with damaging winds, hail and heavy rain as the main threats. Low temperatures tonight will be in the mid 70s. On Friday, we’re expecting more heat and humidity with highs in the lower 90s under a mix of sun and clouds. Scattered showers and storms are possible by afternoon and evening. Rain chances will be going up over the weekend as an area of low pressure tracks across the area. In fact, rain will be likely on Saturday. The rain will slowly move out by Sunday. Highs temperatures over the weekend will be in the mid 80s.
