Bank employee accused of embezzling money from Metropolitan Church Federal Credit Union

Suffolk, Va. – A 38-year-old woman has been accused of embezzling money from the Metropolitan Church Federal Credit Union.

Officials say Johara Tonna Parrish of Chesapeake was arrested on a warrant handed down by direct indictment.

These charges are related to a reported embezzlement at the credit union.

She was an employee there and officials say she transferred funds to her own account.
