Suffolk, Va. – A child was hit by a vehicle while on a bicycle in Suffolk on Tuesday.
The accident happened in the 300 block of West Washington Street. Emergency dispatch was notified at around 5:17 p.m.
A 10-year-old was riding his bicycle and was hit by a black Jeep SUV.
The driver remained on the scene.
The child suffered non-life threatening injuries and as taken to the hospital.
There were no other injuries.
This accident is still under investigation.
