Suffolk, Va. – No injuries were reported after a car crashed into the Great Wall Chinese Restaurant in Suffolk Wednesday morning.
An 81-year-old woman was driving the Chevrolet Malibu when it crashed into the restaurant, which was closed at the time.

There were no injuries reported following a medical assessment by Suffolk Fire & Rescue personnel at the scene.
The preliminary investigation notes driver error as the probable cause of the accident. The woman was issued a summons for reckless driving-private property.
Suffolk Planning & Community Development Department building officials will respond to confirm the structural integrity of the building.
