Chesapeake, Va. – A Chesapeake Police officer passed away on Saturday, June 27th as a result of a heart attack, according to Chesapeake Police spokesperson Kelly O’Sullivan.
Officer John Eisel was 27-years-old and had worked with the Chesapeake Police Department since 2010.
Officer Eisel leaves behind his wife, a 3-year-old daughter and a 7-month-old son.
“He was well liked and respected. John will be greatly missed. Our hearts & prayers go out to the Eisel family,” Chesapeake Police told NewsChannel 3.
Monarch Bank is accepting donations for the family.
