A soggy and stormy stretch… A cold front will move into the Mid-Atlantic today and stall out for several days. Expect mostly cloudy skies today with showers and storms, especially for this evening and tonight. Some storms could be strong to severe with the potential for localized flooding. The chance for rain and storms will remain for Friday still with mostly cloudy skies.
The string of fronts will linger over North Carolina this weekend, keeping scattered showers and storms in the region. High temperatures will stay in the mid 80s for the end of the work week and the weekend.
