Bethesda, Md. – Federal and local authorities investigated reports of a single gunshot heard on the campus of Walter Reed Medical Center in Bethesda Monday morning, but found no evidence of a shooting.
Montgomery County Police say there was no evidence of gunshots and no injuries reported and the search of the tower was completed at 1:30pm.
At this time, the reports have not been confirmed.
Montgomery County Police tweeted that they are assisting in the response. Calls reporting the single gunshot were received at 10:48 a.m. They also reiterated that no incident has been confirmed yet.
