Dinwiddie County, Va. - It was a horrific shopping experience for a few customers who were inside of a Food Lion in Dinwiddie County.
According to WTVR.com, a former employee walked into the store with a gun on her hip Tuesday morning after a heated argument with her supervisor.
“We pulled up, people were coming out of the store, very fast, like running. One guy says, she’s got a gun,” that’s all David Hawkins had to hear to head in the opposite direction.
Police say the employee walked back to get a letter of termination, but she strapped on her gun before going back inside.
She was not charged since she can legally open carry her gun.
