Norfolk, Va. –  Interstate 64 remains has now reopened after a two-vehicle crash involving a car and a tractor-trailer occurred

According to Virginia State Police, a Saturn Ion was traveling east through the tunnel when the driver lost control. The car ran off the left side and hit a wall, which then caused the car to cross over the left lane and into the tractor-trailer in the right lane.

No injuries were reported.

However, the fuel tanks on the tractor-trailer were ruptured, causing a fuel leak.

The driver of the Saturn, 24-year-old Jarita L. Wilson, was charged with reckless driving.

Additional information will be posted as it becomes available.
