Oklahoma – A 34-year-old Oklahoma man will spend the next three decades behind bars after officials say he gave his stepfather a wedgie that claimed his life.
Brad Davis, 34, was sentenced on July 20th. He pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter of Denver Lee St. Clair, according to Newser.com.
Davis says he killed his stepfather in the heat of passion while he was defending himself in a fight that had gotten out of hand.
Police say both men were drinking at the time on the night of December 21st, 2013 after St. Clair allegedly said something about Davis’ mother.
Investigators say Davis knocked his stepfather out before he gave him the wedgie.
St. Clair was found dead with his underwear pulled over his head. Officials say the elastic band cut off his air supply.
Reports say the head wounds St. Clair sustained would have killed him if the wedgie did not do so first.
