Chesapeake, Virginia – A man wearing a mask attempted to rob the 7-Eleven located in the 2200 block of S. Military Highway at gunpoint around 4:00am, according to police.
Police say the man went inside the store with a handgun and demanded money.
When the clerk hesitated, the man left the store on foot.
The incident remains under investigation.
