VIPIR Forecast: The rain moves out and the sunshine returns

Posted
and last updated

Tracking plenty of sunshine and more warm temps….Sunshine is on the way for a lot of us over the next several days. But for this Thursday evening, a few scattered showers and a rumble of thunder are possible, due in part to a stationary front to our south. Not everyone will see rain tonight.  Otherwise, expect partly to mostly cloudy skies. Low temperatures will be in the lower 70s.

On Friday, while a few leftover showers are possible over parts of the area in the morning, most of our viewing area will be dry as high pressure builds in from the north. In fact, a lot of us will see mostly sunny skies with highs in the mid 80s.  More sunshine is in your weekend forecast.  High temperatures will be in the mid and upper 80s on Saturday and Sunday.  And we’ll keep the sunshine going for the start of Monday. However, a few showers and storms are expected to move in late Monday into Tuesday. Highs will be in the mid and upper 80s.

Tonight: Partly to Mostly Cloudy. Scattered Showers, Isolated T’storm (30%). Low temperatures in the lower 70s. Winds: E 5-10 mph.

Friday: Isolated AM Shower (20%). Sun and Clouds. High temperatures will be in the mid 80s. Winds: NE 5-10 mph.

Saturday: Mostly Sunny. Warmer. High temperatures in the upper 80s. Winds: N 5-10 mph.
