Norfolk, Va. – VDOT crews will be performing final paving operations along Hampton Boulevard near the new underpass, with nightly lane closures scheduled from Friday, July 31-Tuesday, August 4.
July 31-August 1: Crews will close two lanes in both directions along Hampton Boulevard beginning at 6 p.m. and ending at 9 a.m. the following morning. One lane will be open to traffic.
August 2 and August 4: Crews will close two lanes in both directions along Hampton Boulevard beginning at 6 p.m. and ending at 5 a.m. the following morning. One lane will be open to traffic.
August 5-6: Crews will finish paving Mapleshade Avenue and Greenbrier Avenue during daytime operations. Traffic on Hampton Boulevard will not be affected.
All lane closures and operations are weather-dependent. The work will be moved to the following weekend if it is not completed this week.
