UPDATE: All but 100 of the 700 customers affected were restored by 9 p.m. Crews continue to work on the scene. They are working to make repairs before the last 100 customers will get their power restored.
Portsmouth, Va. – Crews are working to restore power to hundreds of customers in Portsmouth after a vehicle knocked down three poles during an accident.
This happened in the 3200 block of High Street near Frederick Blvd.
This accident also pulled own wire in two locations nearby.
Crews are on the scene trying to make the repairs.
There is no estimated time of restoration.
