Chesapeake, Va. - Arguing with your spouse is normal for many couples, but one spat turned violent and now a wife is locked up.
Randy Baldwin told police she "stabbed her husband because she was tired of fussing with him, according to a search warrant.
One neighbor didn't want to be identified but said people are talking about what happened inside an apartment in the complex on Dunedin Drive in Chesapeake.
"I think everybody's like whoa. What in the world is going on? That's crazy, that's really, really crazy," the neighbor says.
It happened on the night of July 27th.
Records show a man called 911 and said he had been stabbed.
When police arrived, Randy Baldwin opened the door and there was a knife on the table and a large amount of blood on the floor, according to the warrant.
The wife was arrested as emergency responders helped her husband. He was taken to Sentara Norfolk General for his injuries.
On Tuesday afternoon, NewsChannel 3 knocked on the door to the apartment where it happened. We could hear someone inside, but they refused to talk to us.
Roni James lives nearby and used to be married. He offered some advice to the troubled couple.
"If you're tired of fussing, just walk away from it. The more you fuss, the more you talk and then stuff escalates, so just stop it. It takes two people to argue," says James.
Randy Baldwin declined our request for an interview. She is currently being held without bond in the Chesapeake Jail.
Her next court hearing is September 1st, according to court officials.
