Portsmouth, Va. – Award-winning soul singer Erykah Badu performed at the n’Telos Pavilion over the weekend to a sold-out crowd of adoring fans.
Concertgoers stood to their feet as Badu walked out onto the stage in one of her always-eye-catching outfits, which included a cloth poncho and an extremely tall hat.
Not only did Badu perform fan-favorites including “Times a Wasting,” and the always flawless “Call Tyrone,” she talked about current social issues and encouraged audience members to unify against injustices.
During her last song, Badu called fans to the front of the stage, creating a more intimate setting as she did an incredible remix to “Call Tyrone.”
