Newport News, Va. - Twelve men were charged in prostitution and drug-related offenses during a three-day undercover prostitution sting in the North, Central, and South areas of Newport News in late July.
The sweep took place on the evenings of July 17th, 24th and 31st as part of the Cook County Illinois Sheriff’s Office tenth “National Day of Johns Arrests,” which ran from July 17th to August 3rd.
In January 2015, 37 law enforcement agencies in 17 states participated in the operation. It led to the arrests of 570 would-be sex buyers (or “johns”) and 23 pimps/traffickers. Additionally, 68 prostitution victims were recovered, including 14 juveniles.

- possession of firearm by felon
- possession of a stolen firearm
- possession of a firearm with a schedule I or II drug
- possession of ammo by a convicted felon
- possession of marijuana
- possession of MDMA (ecstasy)
Tyshaun Kyontae Patterson-Lockhart, 23, was arrested on the following charges:
- solicitation of prostitution
- frequent a bawdy place
- possession with intent to distribute crack
- possession with intent to distribute powder cocaine
- possession with intent to distribute heroin
