The investigation revealed 27-year-old Patrice Dunn and a 23-year-old man were involved in a fight. At some point, Dunn allegedly tried to hit the man with her vehicle while members of Dunn’s family members attacked him.

A witness told police they had seen a man and woman involved in a fight. Other witnesses at the scene say they broke up the fight between the two.  Some witnesses told police that the man punched Dunn before she attempted to hit him with the vehicle.

During the investigation, Dunn returned to the scene.

Warrants were advised for parties on both sides of the incident and Dunn was arrested and charged with simple assault and malicious wounding.

An EPO (Emergency Protective Order) was also obtained for the protection of Dunn and the victim.
