Japanese rocket launches cargo craft of supplies to ISS

The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) successfully launched its H-IIB rocket from the Tanegashima Space Center Wednesday morning.

The rocket sent the “Kounotori” HTV-5 cargo craft on a five day trip to the International Space Station where it will deliver more than 4.5 tons of research and supplies to the six-person space station crew there.

The cargo craft is scheduled to dock with the ISS on Monday, August 24th.
