Michael Vick goes to the Steelers for backup QB position

Norfolk, Va. – It’s official, Michael Vick is going to Pittsburgh.

The Pittsburgh Steelers met with the veteran quarterback and Newport News-native, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Vick, 35, is currently a free agent after playing for the New York Jets last season.

The Steelers were in need of a backup quarterback after Bruce Gradkowski severely injured a finger on his left hand during Sunday night’s preseason game.
